About ATT

Active Training Team (ATT) are innovators in safety leadership. We are an award-winning team of professional writers, trainers, facilitators, actors, psychologists and digital learning specialists.

ATT design and deliver unique, experiential safety leadership programs for clients in the US renewable energy sector including RWE, Siemens Gamesa and OW Ocean Winds. ATT’s safety leadership centers in the UK support major infrastructure projects such as the Thames Tideway Tunnel Project, the Trans-Pennine Route Upgrade and Ørsted’s Hornsey Off-shore Wind projects.

ATT principles of safety leadership

When it comes to safety, ATT believes that everyone in an organization, regardless of rank, role or function, should feel empowered to challenge constructively and accept challenge graciously.

People must take responsibility for their own safety and recognize that their actions can impact on others’ ability to stay safe. When it comes to safety, ATT believes everyone is a leader. These principles of safety leadership are embedded into every ATT program.

ATT takes everyone in your organization – senior leaders and managers, operational and site staff, office-based support teams and contractor partners – through the same shared experience. In this way we build a strong, common culture of understanding, language and skills.

Our work is designed according to sound neuroscientific, psychological and learning theory principles, to ensure that participants are engaged at an emotional level to strengthen memory and recall. People come away from our programs with a deep, lasting awareness of their responsibility for safety, and the communication skills to make a difference.
