Thrive USA
A high-impact interactive program designed to provide a common experience for the entire organization – from frontline managers and leaders to the hands on workers that comprise the essential workforce across America.
Thrive USA tackles the critical connection between safety leadership, effective communication, and focuses on building a resilient safety culture.
Using a powerful blend of storytelling, live action, facilitated discussion, and practical workshops, this interactive experience brings real-world risks and decision-making challenges into sharp focus. Set within the context of a major dockside load-out operation, the narrative explores the build-up to a fatal incident—examining the pressures, assumptions, and choices that shaped the outcome.
When the stakes are high, how do we communicate? How do we intervene? And how do we lead?
About the program
Thrive USA challenges participants to examine their own role in preventing incidents and instils a culture where safety is prioritized. It explores:
- The direct link between day-to-day communication and safe, efficient project delivery
- The leadership behaviors that encourage trust, openness, and early intervention
- The individual and organizational responsibility for creating a proactive safety culture
Program structure
The program comprises two integrated elements:
Interactive Awareness-Raising Story
A dynamic multimedia experience that places participants in the middle of a critical incident scenario. Through a blend of high-quality film and live performance, the session provokes reflection, encourages honest dialogue, and establishes a shared understanding of what’s at stake.
Practical Safety Leadership (PSL) Workshop
A focused, hands-on session that develops practical communication skills and leadership strategies to reduce risk and enhance team safety performance. Participants explore:
- Recognizing and addressing unsafe behaviors in real time
- Influencing attitudes towards safety under operational pressure
- Applying proven communication tools to drive a safety-first culture
Who the program is for
The program is suitable for the construction, energy, utility, and infrastructure sectors, and for participants at all levels of an organization.
